HuHot Mongolian Grill announced it's launching a new Franchise Business Review program aimed at helping franchisees review key performance metrics and evaluate the health of their operations.
The program is focused on reviewing accumulated data with internal operations reviews, shopper programs, on-line feedback, third party food safety auditing, sales performance, guest count history and other information. The reviewer then helps the franchisee identify trends, strengths and opportunities. Franchisees also get a picture of how their restaurant is performing compared to other HuHot restaurants.
Jeff Martin, COO at HuHot Mongolian Grill, initiated the reviews when he realized how much of the data that franchisees get doesn’t necessarily give clear direction without additional context.
“We want to continually provide our franchisees with the best opportunity to succeed,” Martin said in a company press release. “It sounds basic, but it’s amazing how helpful it can be to give franchisees a complete analysis of their operations, and how they are performing in comparison to other franchisees. Sometimes in the age of data we forget how important it is to assist in analyzing the information, in order to formulate action plans to address the business as a whole.”
