Huey Magoo's opening in Springfield, Missouri

Huey Magoo's is opening its first Springfield, Missouri, location, marking its 46th restaurant spanning nine states.

The 2,900-square-foot, free-standing restaurant features a drive-thru and is the first of up to five restaurants in Springfield and surrounding areas that franchisees James and Lisa Tillman will open. The duo also owns a First Watch and is an investor in FD's Grillhouse and Casa Bella.

"We are super excited about this brand and bringing Huey Magoo's to Springfield," James Tillman said in a company press release. "Springfield is our hometown, and the community is very supportive of us and new concepts to the area."

Huey Magoo's was founded in 2004 in Florida and has over 225 franchises sold in 12 states.
