Huey Magoo's lands in Montgomery, Alabama

Huey Magoo's, the "Filet Mignon Of Chicken," will celebrate the opening of its first Montgomery, Alabama location with a grand opening on Wednesday, according to a company press release.

The location, at 8001 Vaughn Road will be open Sundays to Thursdays 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Huey Magoo's Montgomery is the 22nd restaurant opening systemwide spanning four states, with over 200 franchises sold in nine states. The 3,000-square-foot Montgomery restaurant features indoor seating and a pick-up window, in which guests can order in advance through Huey Magoo's mobile app.

This is the first of four Huey Magoo's restaurants that will open in the Montgomery area under franchisee Scott Pratt, who is also a partner with Papa John's Pizza. Huey Magoo's Montgomery will offer dine-in, take-out and delivery through third-party delivery services DoorDash and Uber Eats.

Huey Magoo's was founded in 2004 and continues to expand in the Southeast with multiple locations throughout Central Florida, in South Florida, Jacksonville, Greater Tampa, Georgia, Mississippi and plans to open in Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio, Las Vegas and more.
