Hot Italian Pizza Bar opens 3rd location

Hot Italian Pizza Bar opened its newest location April 2.

Hot Italian Pizza Bar has opened its newest location at 500 First St. in Davis, California, according to a company press release. The Davis opening marks Hot Italian's third opening in seven years following the launch of its flagship location in Midtown Sacramento in February 2009, and the opening of its Public Market Emeryville store in March 2012.

"As a UC Davis alumna, I am thrilled to bring Hot Italian to the Davis community," said Andrea Lepore, co-founder and creative director of Hot Italian.  It is our ongoing mission to create a place where pizza brings people together to celebrate Italy's new generation of art, music, design, sport, food and wine in a welcoming atmosphere. Davis was a natural fit when envisioning our next location. The bike friendly city and connection to the university working on the cutting edge in food, wine, and world class art, music, and design, embody the Hot Italian brand."  

The restaurant is open 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Brunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
