Who knew there was a National Something on a Stick Day. Hot Dog on a Stick does, and on Saturday, March 28, customers visiting participating Hot Dog on a Stick locations wearing a printable version of the iconic Hot Dog on a Stick hat, will receive a free Hot Dog on a Stick.
Customers may download and print the hat by visiting Hot Dog on a Stick's Facebook page or website. Hats will be available for download starting March 23.
Observed annually on March 28, National Something on a Stick Day celebrates foods on a stick that are fun and easy to eat. Hot Dog on a Stick's menu features creative stick items such as original turkey dogs, Nathan's beef dogs, veggie dogs, and popular Cheese on a Stick.
"While Hot Dog on a Stick did not create National Something on a Stick Day, we know we are the right brand to celebrate it," Lisa Merrell, vice president of Hot Dog on a Stick, said in a release. "This is the first year we've done a giveaway to commemorate this fun day and we want to combine the adoration of our iconic hats and fresh made stick items. We hope customers old and new come out to celebrate with us on March 28."
