Austin-based Hopdoddy Burger Bar is entering the Louisiana market next week when it opens in Shreveport at 1370 E. 70th St.
"We're excited to raise the burger bar in Shreveport," Hopdoddy CEO Jeff Chandler said in a company press release. "At Hopdoddy, we do the familiar in an unfamiliar way. Our unique burger concoctions and shareable fries really push the boundaries of what's expected. We can't wait to celebrate our first Louisiana location with the Shreveport community when we open on Tuesday. Laissez les bon temps rouler!"
Hopdoddy will occupy the space formally held by Grub Burger Bar, a brand it acquired in January as part of its launch of Hibar Hospitality Group. The renovated location, which is the sixth of 18 former Grub Burger Bars to be converted to Hopdoddy stores, features music-themed interior decor and a covered dog-friendly patio.
Founded in 2010, Hopdoddy has nearly 40 locations across Texas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana.
