Thanks to a deal with ANZ Hospitality LLC, Hoots Wings is opening 16 units in the greater Philadelphia area as part of its five-year goal to build 50 locations in Pennsylvania.
The company, owned by HOA Brands — the parent company to Hooters — will open the first one or two locations in the area by the end of 2021, according to a company press release.
"Hoots has established itself as a leader in the QSR wings space," said Chirag Patel, CEO of ANZ, a Philadelphia-based company with over 20 years of experience in hotel operations and hospitality management. "With Hooters' backing and the rapid growth of the QSR industry, being a part of the early development stages of growth for the brand was the perfect opportunity for ANZ. "
Hoots' goals for development goes further than simply growing its number of locations, Sal Melilli, CEO of HOA Brands, said in the release.
"We want to bring Hoots Wings' unique concept to our fans in Pennsylvania, but we also want to bring jobs to the community as well," he said. "ANZ Hospitality specializes in providing employment and support in the communities they serve – with this deal alone they'll bring between 200-300 jobs to the area — and we're excited to see their vision and success in the industry enacted through Hoots Wings in Philadelphia."
Hoots is seeking qualified franchisees with an entrepreneurial background and prior restaurant experience or experience in a relevant industry, according to the release.
