Hollywood's Fatburger now on tour in NYC

Hollywood-based Fatburger has officially opened its first Manhattan location in the neighborhood of Murray Hill in New York. The franchisee of the newest location is The Riese Organization, a restaurant management company in New York City with more than 70 years of experience in opening and managing operations for chains such as T.G.I. Friday's and Pizza Hut. Throughout the next few years, it will be a driving force in Fatburger's growth, launching an additional nine units throughout the New York metropolitan area, according to a company press release.

"Opening our first Manhattan location is a significant milestone for our brand and marks a new chapter in Fatburger growth on the East Coast," said CEO of Fatburger, Andy Wiederhorn. "We know this location will be a great success and look forward to becoming a burger fixture throughout the Empire State. Our roots may be in Hollywood, but our depth of flavors and expansive menu resonates from coast to coast."

The new Fatburger is at 509 3rd Ave., New York City.
