Holler & Dash doubles down on brunch

Fast casual biscuit house Holler & Dash is opening its second location this summer in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The brand opened its first location in March in Homewood, Alabama. The restaurant is based on a core belief system, expressed through its elevated Southern menu of premium ingredients, community service and in-store Southern hospitality, all delivered through its people who bring it all to life, according to a company press release.

"The concept at Holler & Dash allows us to bring chef-driven, white tablecloth values and strong food philosophies to the fast casual space," said Chef Brandon Frohne, director of culinary for Holler & Dash. "Our biscuit house menu is rooted in traditions from the South, but it's far from standard fare. The biscuit is the hero on our menu, and we balance premium, elevated ingredients with heirloom Southern recipes to bring out big, bold flavors reinvented for the way you want to eat right now."

The Tuscaloosa location will be at 1130 University Blvd., suite A-2, near the University of Alabama campus.

"We were drawn to Tuscaloosa because of the strong community ties there," said Mike Chissler, chief operating officer for Holler & Dash. "It's inspiring to join a community that places a shared importance on quality food, great hospitality and a modern take on tradition."
