Summer just got a little hotter with the release of the "Hot Dads of Habit x UFC GYM Calendar," now available for order online. The five-month calendar is a collaboration between Habit Burger & Grill and UFC GYM featuring "bold dads paired with bold salads."

Available for purchase here, it's generating buzz and will be featured on Thursday on "Live with Kelly & Mark."

To select the featured fathers, Habit Burger & Grill and UFC GYM launched a nationwide search, inviting dads to submit photos and videos showcasing their "strength, spirit and swagger." Winners were flown to Los Angeles for an exclusive photoshoot.

Jack Hinchliffe, chief marketing officer at Habit Burger & Grill, said the calendar celebrates a new lineup of salads, all featuring chargrilled chicken.

"For too long, salads have been typecast as something for Moms while the Dads reach for the burgers," Hinchliffe said in a company press release. "That's just not the case here. These salads are hearty, flavorful, and full of protein. So to celebrate, we paired each one with a different Hot Dad to prove once and for all: salads are for everyone."

The calendar introduces five "Hot Dads":

  • Mr. Santa Barbara Cobb: Caden Wilson, a firefighter from Vero Beach, Florida, and soon-to-be first-time dad.
  • Mr. Mango Miso Crunch: Ron Smith, a father of two from Moreno Valley, California, whose wife submitted him without his knowledge.
  • Mr. Harvest Chopped: Anthony Disano, a father of one from Warren, New Jersey, who described the salad as "real, and intentional. Just like the life I'm building for my son."
  • Mr. Grilled Chicken Caesar: Wenzy Reyes, a father of one from Murrieta, California, described as dependable and classic.
  • Mr. Side Salad: Zach Sowers from Los Angeles, California, who is "currently looking for a Mrs. Side Salad."

"These men live with grit, heart and purpose. That's what makes them strong, not just at the gym, but in life," Adam Sedlack, CEO of UFC GYM said in the release.

The limited-edition calendar, covering August through December, costs $24.99, including U.S. shipping. Net proceeds will benefit The Habit Restaurants Foundation, which supports local nonprofits and community programs.

In conjunction with the calendar release, Habit Burger & Grill is offering a "2-for-1" salad deal through July 13. Customers may buy any salad and get a second of equal or lesser value for free by joining the CharClub and using the code "2SALADS."
