Habit Burger debuting roasted garlic portabella double charburger

The Habit Restaurants is serving a new feature burger, the Roasted Garlic Portabella Double Charburger, between Aug. 19 through Oct. 6, according to a company press release.

The new Double Char begins with two seasoned chargrilled beef patties, layered with roasted portabella mushrooms, melted cheese, lettuce and tomatoes on toasted garlic herb sourdough bread spread with roasted garlic sauce.  

"The Roasted Garlic Portabella Double Charburger is an amazing combination of bold, umami flavors," said chef Adam Baird, The Habit’s VP of food and beverage and creator of the new Charburger. "There is a rich, earthiness and great texture from the roasted portabella mushrooms that blends so well with the roasted garlic and our chargrilled beef. The portabella, and the toasted garlic sourdough, are what enhance our signature Charburger here."
