GRILLiT adding drive-thru to newest unit

GRILLiT is preparing to open its second franchised store and has chosen Elizabethtown, Ky., as the location. The Latin-Caribbean fast casual concept focused on healthy fare expects the store to be open for business by the end of September.

"We are excited about our newest franchisee in Elizabethtown. This will be our first GRILLiT location that is a stand-alone structure with a drive-thru window," said GRILLiT Chairman and CEO Ghazi Hajj.

Hajj's franchise plan calls for at least 58 franchised locations across eight states over the next five years. GRILLiT currently has master franchise agreements in Kentucky, Ohio, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and North Carolina, and is actively seeking franchise operators.
