Green District opening in Indiana

Green District, a Louisville-based fast casual salad concept, is opening Saturday at 4227 Town Center Blvd., in Jeffersonville, Indiana, according to a company press release.

The 1,500-square-foot location will be the first in Southern Indiana and joins Green District's existing restaurants in Louisville's Highlands, St. Matthews, Middletown and downtown areas. An additional Louisville-area restaurant is slated to open at Brownsboro Crossing Center in late April.

As part of Saturday's grand opening, the restaurant is offering a free salad and T-shirt to the first 100 customers.
