Great Wraps, an Atlanta-based fast casual chain of restaurants with 75 locations across America, is expanding into Boston with new franchise partner Fred Gamble. Gamble's commitment to develop three locations, all of which will feature Great Wraps new hoodless and fryerless cafe operation, extends the brand's efforts to reach customers at high-traffic retail centers, office buildings and universities, according to a company press release.
"The team at Great Wraps could not be happier to welcome Mr. Gamble and his local knowledge of Boston," said Mark Kaplan, Chairman and CEO at Great Wraps Inc. "Our brand new design incorporates everything the hungry diner in Boston is seeking — massive flavor, an on-trend environment, and chef-created recipes unique to our brand. And once our guests discover we are roasting vegetables and cooking meats without the use of fryers, grease, and microwaves, they can't believe that quality this good could come from such a healthy and environmentally friendly method of cooking."
The three Great Wraps restaurants, which are targeted for development in the Fenway and Boston University region of the city, are slated to open over the next three years.
