Arizona-based Grabbagreen has opened its third Colorado location, a news release said. The store in The Grove Shopping Center just north of Cabelas in Thornton opens Monday, Sept. 18, under the ownership of franchisee Scott Meier of Makton.
Meier recently signed an agreement with partners Craig DeFries and Greg Smith of Smedium Inc. for a Fort Collins Grabbagreen location opening next year, the release said.
"I was drawn to the Grabbagreen concept because living life as a sales road warrior, it was difficult to find healthy and quick food options when traveling," Meier said in the release. "I was hooked by Grabbagreen immediately because the food was healthy and it tasted amazing and [I] was even the first person to attend a Discovery Day in Phoenix to learn more about the concept when they announced franchising."
Vegan- and vegetarian-friendly Grabagreen occupies a nearly 1800-square-foot space in Thornton. The growing brand now has 24 restaurants operating in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, with 98 franchise agreements and 174 development agreements made since April 2015.
