Gott's Roadside, a Northern California roadside restaurant emphasizing locally sourced ingredients, reopened its San Francisco Ferry Building location Wednesday for takeout and delivery. The store is open from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day, with the full menu available through www.gotts.com. Additionally, its soft-serve ice cream station is open from noon to 6 p.m., offering organic Straus vanilla and chocolate, Clay Walker, president of Gott's Roadside, said in a press release.
"Our highest priority is getting our team members back to work and collecting a paycheck," he said. "We are optimistic that the economy will start to reopen gradually, and we will be here to serve the community when it does."
To help aid employees further, for a limited time, guests who buy a bottle of 2018 Daisy Sauvignon Blanc for $5 (regularly $32) at any Gott's location will automatically contribute $5 to the Gott's employee tip jar.
Gott's Roadside was founded in 1999 in St. Helena by brothers Joel and Duncan Gott.
