Gott's Roadside, a Northern California roadside restaurant group emphasizing locally sourced ingredients, is hosting private events from seven of its locations, according to a company press release.
Its "wine country picnic experience," designed for groups of 24 or more, allows guests to work with an event specialist to choose a curated menu featuring burgers, classic sandwiches, salads, sides, mini milkshakes and California-centric beers and wines, which is served family style on communal picnic tables.
"For years, we've been informally hosting private events at our St. Helena restaurant due to overwhelming interest from locals, families, clubs and winery groups," Clay Walker, Gott's president, said in the release. "To better meet the needs of our customers, we formalized the program with the introduction of an event planner and made it available at all our locations."
The program is under the direction of Carolyn Morton, who has been working with Gott's since 2018, and has over 20 years of event management experience.
Founded by brothers Joel and Duncan Gott in 1999 in St. Helena, California, Gott's has expanded to Napa's Oxbow Public Market, San Francisco's Ferry Building and Thrive City at Chase Center, Palo Alto, Walnut Creek, Marin, and a licensed location at San Francisco International Airport.
