Goodcents, a sub sandwich franchise, has launched its Centsable Kitchen, which offers prepared meals in refrigeration units.
The concept debuted in Olanthe, Kansas, and offers more than 20 nutritious meals such as chicken enchilada bake, herb crusted samon, turkey chili and four-cheese mac, according to a press release.
Centsable kitchen also offers several snack items such as protein bars, fruit snacks and yogurt parfaits. Customers can either pick up their meals at the location or have it delivered by ordering online or on the mobile app.
"We realize people's lives are hectic and how hard it is to find fresh, healthy options when you are on the go," Scott Ford, president of Goodcents Franchise Systems, said in the release. "Our goal with Centsable Kitchen is to deliver delicious meal options that compliment our established menu of sub sandwiches and pastas. These can be an alternative choice to in-restaurant dining or easy take-home options for later meals."
The restaurant uses BPA-free packaging that is FDA and CFIA approved.
