Go Go Curry, a fast casual concept specializing in authentic Japanese comfort food, is opening its first New Jersey location inside a 12,000-square-foot, street-level commercial component of William Flats, an adaptive reuse of the former United Women's Garment Workers' Union headquarters property, according to a company press release.
The unit, located at 1 William St., in Newark, will open by the end of the year, joining an existing retail co-tenancy that includes Santander Bank and a 7-Eleven, according to the release.
The first Go Go Curry America unit opened near New York's Times Square in 2007, and the chain now operates eight locations in New York, Massachusetts and Texas.
