Giardino expands Southern Florida presence

Giardino Gourmet Salads has opened its newest restaurant in Miami Lakes, Fla., in Park Centre located at 8008 NW 154 St. The restaurant will host a grand opening celebration on July 12.

Current Giardino franchise partners Robert Fuerth and Jaime Mitrani, who opened the first South Miami restaurant more than two years ago, will open the Miami Lakes location with Lilly Tudela, who will also be responsible for day-to-day operations.

According to a news release, prior to joining Giardino, Mitrani practiced law and Fuerth served as an operations manager for a large software company, while Tudella worked in sales and marketing. The franchisees plan to open additional locations in select communities in Miami-Dade and Broward counties targeted by Giardino Enterprises in the near future.

"We're excited to bring Giardino's fresh, high quality salads and homemade fare to Miami Lakes," Tudela said in the release. "As Miami natives, we love the idea of a successful homegrown business and when we found Giardino, we knew we had found the right opportunity for us. We are passionate about the concept's mission and whole-heartedly believe in the product that we serve."

The Giardino Gourmet Salads in Miami Lakes, Fla., will offer delivery and catering services.
