Giardino Gourmet Salads has experienced nine consecutive quarters of positive comparable sales after posting an 8 percent increase throughout the first quarter of 2014, Kenny Lugo, founder and director of franchise development at Giardino Gourmet Salads, said in a company press release.
"Giardino Gourmet Salads' nine consecutive quarters of positive same-store sales increases is a true testament to the strength of our growing brand," he said. "Our success is directly related to consumers' increasing desire to live a healthier lifestyle and our franchisees continually delivering a superior customer experience."
Since innovation has always been a key component to Giardino's success, the company recently introduced grain bowls to its menu of salads, garden wraps, soups, boccata sandwiches and a wide assortment of croutons baked fresh daily in each restaurant, Lugo said. The Grain Bowls combine warm quinoa, brown rice or jasmine rice with a wide variety of premium toppings and dressings. In addition to The Gardener, La Fiesta and Wok Grain Bowls, guests can also enjoy a My Way Bowl that can be customized using any premium toppings or any signature salad combinations on the menu. The grain bowl combinations may also be ordered in a wrap and a scoop of grains can be added to any salad as a topping.
