GFG opening 5 locations in 6 months

Greek From Greece is opening five locations in the next six months, according to a company press release. With 44 corporate stores open or in development in the New York City area, the business is ready to go nationwide,opening two stores in Philadelphia by January and one in Rye, New York in March, as well as one each in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, and Weehawken, New Jersey.

CEO George Drosos and his team of partners have spent millions building a supply chain that brings proprietary pastries and foods imported from Greece to every corner of the United States, according to the release.

The company now offers a GFG Express Model, thanks to a merger with Dairy Barn, a drive-thru convenience chain. The deal will convert 30 Dairy Barn drive-thru locations into GFG Express units over the next year. Greek GFG products will be placed inside existing Dairy Barn locations to first introduce the drive-through convenience store customers to the products before each unit is converted, according to the release.
