Getting Fired (Pie) up for National Cheese Day

Fired Pie is pulling out the stops for National Cheese Day on Sept. 5, when the 21-location pizzeria will offer half off its cheese pizzas when customers buy any kind of drink. But respect the day, okay? This offer is only for cheese pizzas and doesn't apply to orders placed through third-party delivery services, a press release said. 

The brand is also starting its participation in the annual No Kid Hungry Campaign, giving those who donate $1 to the worthy cause a free Pookie (chocolate chip cookie or macadamia nut cookie dough topped with vanilla bean ice cream) to use within 30 days, but not on the purchase date.
