#Getfried establishes first franchise location

The #Getfried Fry Cafe has selected San Antonio, Texas for its first franchise location. Former Subway franchisee, Craig Christopher, will launch the franchise.

"With French fries being the No. 1 consumed fast-food item in America, I truly believe this concept will thrive among consumers in San Antonio and other cities because of its quality product and affordable pricing," he saidrelease.

#getfried will offer a menu of French fries and finger foods, with five different French fry options and an assortment of 20 sauces. The menu will also feature toppings and foods that are favorites in that region, according to a news release.

"We look forward to bringing the #getfried experience to Texas and are confident that this franchise deal is just the beginning of continued momentum for the brand," said the brand's founder, Chris Covelli.

#getfried plans to expand to Northeastern college towns, as well as Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Miami in the near future. The company currently operates two corporate-owned locations in Western New York. In total, the Texas franchise agreement will bring three units to San Antonio.
