Genghis Grill signs Phoenix franchise deal

The Mongolian stir fry concept Genghis Grill has signed a six-store franchise deal for Phoenix and the surrounding cities with Chris Carroll, CEO and president of Carroll Family Asian Stir Fry. The first location is slated to open by the end of this year.

Carroll also is president and CEO of Spring Creek Restaurants Ltd., which includes Spring Creek Barbeque, Shady Oak Barbeque & Grill, Spring Creek Catering Co. and Mexican Inn Cafes. The company owns and operates 35 restaurants across Texas, most in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Twenty new Genghis Grills are slated to open around the country in 2009.
