GDK opens 117th location in UK

German Doner Kebab opened its doors this week in Beckton a suburb in east London at Gallions Reach Shopping Park.
The restaurant menu will feature the brand's Coco & Kiki kebabs, the U.K.'s first pink kebabs served in fluffy pink coconut-infused waffle bread and combined with doner meats, lettuce, tomato, onion and red cabbage.
"Our game-changing kebabs are revolutionizsing the kebab in the U.K. and we are excited to be bringing a new fast-casual dining experience to the area, offering great tasting fresh food in a relaxed and modern setting," GDK Global COO Daniel Bunce said in a company press release. We're delighted to officially open and bring the German Doner Kebab experience to Beckton."
The restaurant is the brand's 117th site in the U.K. It's based in Glasgow, Scotland, and has locations in the Middle East, U.S., Canada and Ireland.
