Garbanzo opening 1st Orange County unit

Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Colorado-based fast casual restaurant concept featuring fresh and healthy Mediterranean cuisine, will open its first Orange County, Calif., franchise location on May 29 at 26541 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo.

The new restaurant is the Mediterranean concept's 22nd location and the fifth franchise store to open thus far. It is owned and operated by Garbanzo franchisee Banzo Bean Inc., which has the rights to develop up to 10 locations in Orange County west of I-5.

"We are thrilled to bring Garbanzo to the West Coast and the people of Orange County in partnership with Banzo Bean Inc.," said Bob Bafundo, Garbanzo vice president of company and franchise operations. "California's climate and active lifestyle go hand-in-hand with our fresh food and healthy philosophy.
