Ohio-based sushi chain Fusian has appointed industry veteran Tyson Yirak as marketing director, a move aimed at bolstering brand infrastructure and fueling future expansion.
"Bolstering our marketing efforts is essential to reaching new guests, revolutionizing the menu and supporting the communities we love," Stephan Harman, co-founder of Fusian, said in a company press release. "Tyson brings the discipline, creativity and forward-thinking mindset we need as we head into the new year."
The announcement comes as the Cincinnati-based restaurant group prepares for its next phase of development.
Yirak, who has a background in field marketing, data analytics and project management; will focus on implementing technology-driven strategies and scalable marketing systems to improve customer engagement.
"I believe technology, analytics and adaptable methodologies can transform how teams operate, and Fusianalready has incredible momentum," he said in the release.
The leadership addition follows a series of recent initiatives for the brand, including the rollout of limited-time menu offers and a successful "pink soy wrap" activation.
Founded in 2010, by Harman and brothers Zach and Josh Weprin, Fusian operates seven locations across Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Toledo. The concept is known for its customizable, ingredient-first approach to sushi.
