Fuddruckers set to plant flag in Maine this May

Texas-based Fuddruckers will debut its first Maine location this May through a new franchise partnership with B&B Burgers, Inc.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant will anchor a Tradewinds convenience store complex, which is currently under construction on Route 1A near Ellsworth Falls. The sports-themed venue will offer both indoor and patio dining.

The site is approximately 20 miles from Acadia National Park and offers direct access to the 85-mile Down East Sunrise Trail, a popular recreation area for hiking, biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.  Guests will also enjoy easy access to Downeast Scenic Railroad, which offers daytrip experiences aboard a vintage railcar.
