Fuddruckers has opened its latest unit in Puerto Rico at 501 Main Avenue in Bayamon, under the direction of franchisee Max Olivera of Carolina-based Caribbean Investment Group Corp. The restaurant replaces the former Condado site and is a dual concept with a side-by-side Uno Chicago Grill, according to a company press release. There are currently five Fuddruckers restaurants in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rican diners may order a regionally inspired Boriqua Burger made with amarillos (sweet plantain) which they can then customize at the Build Your Own produce bar that has an array of fixings, including sun-ripened tomatoes, lettuce, sliced onions, dill pickles, pico de gallo and Fuddruckers cheese sauce.
