Fuddruckers has introduced its first location in Maine through a partnership with franchisee B&B Burgers. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant in Ellsworth anchors a new Tradewinds convenience store complex on Route 1A near Ellsworth Falls, according to a company press release. B&B Burgers was co-founded by Brad Holmes and Chuck Lawrence, a longtime Fuddruckers fan, who has operated convenience and grocery stores in the area for more than two decades.
The sports-themed venue, which offers both indoor and patio dining plus a number of televisions for game days, is about 20 miles from Acadia National Park and offers direct access to the 85-mile Down East Sunrise Trail, a popular recreation area for hiking, biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing and snowmobiling, according to the release.
