Fuddruckers breaks ground in North Dakota

July 30, 2013

Fuddruckers is officially hitting North Dakota by breaking ground in Williston. Construction on the state's first Fuddruckers has commenced and is slated to debut in 2014 alongside The Brooks, the first full-service hotel of its caliber in the region.

"We're thrilled to bring quality establishments in the restaurant and hospitality categories to meet the needs of the growing demand of visitors and residents of North Dakota," said Gurhan Adali, principal of each project. "It's a very exciting time of economic expansion in the area and our goal is to introduce a higher standard of service, comfort and food to this modern-day American boomtown."

Centrally located on U.S. Route 85 — less than two miles from the passenger terminal of Sloulin Field International Airport — Fuddruckers is poised to become a central component of Williston's expanding social scene, according to the company press release.  The Williston restaurant is the first phase of Fuddruckers North Dakota expansion plans.

"We're very enthusiastic about opportunities in North Dakota and eager to introduce our premium fast casual concept to the state," said Peter Tropoli, COO of Luby's Inc., operator of Fuddruckers.

The Williston Fuddruckers will be the first of five restaurants currently scheduled to open in North Dakota.
