Fresh To Order inks agreements for 12 new units

March 28, 2014

Fresh To Order (f2o) continues its expansion throughout the south with the signing of multi-unit franchise agreements with three groups of experienced restaurateurs for 11 new Fresh To Order restaurants in Charlotte, N.C.; Greenville, S.C.; and Gwinnett County, located just north of f2o's Atlanta base. In addition, Fresh To Order opened its first unit in Nashville this month at 2300 Elliston Place, according to a company release.

The Charlotte and Greenville locations will be a first for Fresh To Order in North and South Carolina, respectively.

JNR Restaurant Group LLC will open three locations in Charlotte over the next two years. With affiliated holdings in other restaurant concepts and a sizable hotel portfolio, it is currently seeking sites in the Ballantyne area and surrounding submarkets.

The first Fresh To Order location in South Carolina is scheduled to open this year in Greenville by Real Restaurant Group LLC. It will continue its growth with five additional units in Charlotte, covering the territory from South Park to Uptown. Franchisee Doug Sheley is a restaurant veteran who grew D'Lites of America to more than 100 units, had an ownership stake in Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken and was a former franchisee of Wendy's and Steak 'n Shake.

Longtime restaurateur Samir Patel owns snack franchises and has signed on with f2o to develop two units in Gwinnett County in greater Atlanta, adding to the eight existing f2o units in the Atlanta market.

"This year is shaping up to be a busy one for Fresh To Order as we continue to open new locations in the Southeast, sign franchise agreements with experienced restaurant operators, and launch new markets," said Pierre Panos, Fresh To Order Founder and CEO. "We have our sights set on our priority markets and bringing fresh, fine food at fast casual prices to our guests."
