Fresh To Order announced today it's adding a new bison burger to its menu, along with a new fruit and two new desserts to its summer offerings.
The bison burger is prepared fresh to order on a flame grill in an open display kitchen, and features fresh ground bison and dried cherries served with baby field greens, horseradish aioli and caramelized onions. It contains fewer than 600 calories and is priced at $10.90, according to a news release.
“By adding the bison burger to our lineup of better for you burgers, which includes the healthful and flavor-packed black bean and tuna burgers, we’re giving our guests another way to satisfy their burger cravings,” COO/Corporate Chef Jesse Gideon said in the release. “Our burgers go beyond what you would typically expect, from both a nutritional profile and the bold flavor combinations.”
In addition to the permanent addition of the bison burger, the restaurant will introduce fresh peaches as part of its seasonal fruit rotation for its spinach salad. The spinach salad also includes dressing made-from-scratch, dried cherries, toasted almonds, fresh strawberries and domestic blue cheese crumbles. This summer, Fresh To Order will also add two new desserts, banana caramel icebox pie and strawberry lemonade pie, for a limited time.
