Fresh Griller brings farm-to-fork fast casual to California

Santa Ana, Calif.-based Fresh Griller is opening its first location in August 2012 in the city's McArthur Plaza.

Fresh Griller's mantra is ‘farm to fork’ and it's ingredient list includes a pepper and onion medley, white or brown rice, Ginger Pico de Gallo, Thai Kale Slaw, and Mediterranean Beans. Sauces featured are Wasabi Ranch, Sweet Ginger Chili, Guava Chipotle BBQ and others.

"We thought simple, natural and fresh foods can taste great and be better for you because there is less between the farm and your fork. That means fewer pesticides, less processing, eliminating the ingredients that we simply cannot pronounce," Fresh Griller's managing director said in a news release.

In partnership with the Surfrider Foundation, Fresh Griller will host a week-long celebration of its grand opening, offering complimentary food to the first 50 customers, a chance to win Fresh Griller meals for a year and other giveaways.
