Freebirds World Burrito to open 5 Texas locations

Freebirds World Burrito plans to open five more Texas locations in Dripping Springs, Katy, Conroe, Murphy, and Kyle as part of a push to double in size over the next few years, according to a company press release.

Freebirds has 57 locations throughout Texas.

"Freebirds continues to grow and expand because people can't get enough of our craveable burritos, bowls, and legendary Queso Blanco," Alex Eagle, CEO of Freebirds World Burrito, said in the release. "These new locations will make Freebirds even more available in areas where we already know we have a devoted following. We are ecstatic to have loyal fanatics who are making this expansion possible, and we can't wait to announce the opening dates for these new Freebirds."

The five restaurants will be located at: Dripping Springs, Ledge Stone 12680 U.S. Highway 290, Suite 230, Austin; Stableside at Falcon Landing, 9910 Gaston Rd., Suite 100 Katy; Harper's Preserve, 9662 Highway 242, Suite 100, Conroe; 103 W. FM 544, Murphy, and Dry River District Shopping Center, Kyle.

Freebirds plans to open these locations starting in spring through the end of the year. Freebirds recently opened restaurants in Spring and the Downtown Dallas Arts District. Each Freebirds location will hold grand openings with the first 25 guests receiving free burritos for a year.
