Freebirds World Burrito aims to make healthy eating easy in 2016, with the launch of its Six Under 600 Calories menu, according to a company press release. Available at locations nationwide, the menu features a variety of burritos, bowls and salads under 600 calories, spotlighting low-calorie ingredients.

"The goal of the Six Under 600 Calories menu items is to offer our customers a selection of tasty, high-quality meal options they can feel good about eating," said COO Bobby Shaw. "We want to spread the word that healthy options were always available at Freebirds, due to our mindfully-sourced, fresh ingredients."

The Six Under 600 Calories menu follows the end of a hallmark year for Freebirds, as the brand recently kicked off a brand redesign, Shaw said. Patrons will soon see a remodel of select Freebirds locations and the launch of a new mobile app.
