Freebirds kicking off expansion plans with Texas openings

Texas-based Freebirds is opening this fall in Spring, Texas, as well as this winter in Dripping Springs, Texas, adding to the chain's 55 units in the Lone Star State.

The chain is looking to hire over 30 and 40 employees, respectively, according to a company press release, which also said that the openings were the beginning of a major expansion for Freebirds.

It will double its total number of locations over the next five years, focusing on Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, according to the release.
