FREEBIRDS hits 50 in Texas

FREEBIRDS World Burrito opens the doors today to its 50th Texas location. The new location is at 15285 Southwest Fwy. in Sugar Land.
"We took a primarily college campus concept and broadened it to appeal to a much larger demographic," said Tavistock CEO Bryan Lockwood, who purchased the chain in 2007 when there were only 19 locations in Texas.
The Sugar Land restaurant marks the chain's 50th location in Texas; there are also four in California.
