Scott Redler, a co-founder of Wichita-based Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, is now the chain's chief experience officer.
In 2002, he established the brand with business partners Bill and Randy Simon, and has spent the last 19 years serving as COO, according to a press release.
The new role comes on the heel's of the brand's recent acquisition by private equity firm Thompson Street Capital Partners this past March.
"Who better than Scott to continue the work of providing our guests with a truly memorable Freddy's experience," Chris Dull, president and CEO, said in the release.
Redler serves as treasurer of the National Restaurant Association's board of directors and has received many honors, including the 2020 IFMA Silver Plate Award.
"In light of our continued surge in franchise growth and ongoing success systemwide, this new role falls naturally into the progression of the company," Redler said in the release. "I look forward to strengthening franchisee relationships, continuing our unique culture and doing things 'The Freddy's Way' by delivering an exceptional brand experience to our guests."
Freddy's has over 400 locations.
