Freddy's adding 15 locations via 3 franchise deals

Wichita-based Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is opening 15 locations in Nebraska, North Dakota and Maryland thanks to the signing of three development deals.

"Each new location is an opportunity to create connections with guests and become a local favorite," Andrew Thengvall, chief development officer, said in a company press release. "These expansions are a testament to the strength of the Freddy's brand and the dedication of our franchisees who believe in our commitment to community, quality and hospitality."

The openings include:

• 3 stores in Omaha under the direction of TR Hospitality.
• 7 in North Dakota led by longtime Freddy's fans and restaurant franchising veterans Kyle and Vicki Sedivec.
• 5 units in Prince George's County, Maryland, led by first-time Freddy's franchisee A2SI Group.

Freddy's has over 550 restaurants in 36 U.S. states.
