Former Quizno's, TCBY exec takes SVP title at Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has named Jane McPherson its SVP of marketing. The former marketing VP of Famous Brands International led the revitalization of the TCBY and Mrs. Fields brands and has also served as senior director of marketing at Quiznos, according to a company press release.

McPherson is now responsible for initiating and implementing new technology at Capriotti's to help with marketing efforts, including the company's rewards app and online ordering methods. She will also pearhead a large marketing initiative to promote Capriotti's catering services, said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's.

"As Capriotti's continues our strategic growth strategy, it's vital to have top talent like Jane to lead our marketing efforts," Morris said. "Jane's role will be vital in navigating the crowded marketing technology space and choosing the most effective methods for our brand."

Capriotti's, which has more than100 units across the country, will open 15 shops by the end of the year and plans to have 500 locations open by 2025, according to the release.
