Former Quiznos CEO looks to new turnaround venture

The Economist: Throughout his career, Greg Brenneman has gone looking for companies in need of help. This led him first to Bain, a consulting firm, and then in a succession of senior roles, to companies such as Continental Airlines, Burger King and Quiznos.
Each of these businesses was going through a difficult time when Brenneman came on board and at each he applied a similar approach to sorting out its problems. On Aug. 19, 2008, Brenneman stepped down as chief executive of Quiznos to take up a new role as chairman of CCMP Capital Advisors, a private-equity firm.
