Salata Salad Kitchen is opening its second Charlotte, North Carolina location next week and is celebrating with a fitness class — Sweat with Salata Bootcamp — taught by Charlotte wellness influencer Emily Breeze and retired NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss.
The 2,400-square-foot location will open at 9825 Sandy Rock Place in Rea Farms and is the second Salata location for Free Fenix LLC. The first is in uptown Charlotte, and Free Fenix will add a third location in 2023.
"The Charlotte community has been incredibly supportive of us at our uptown location by wholeheartedly embracing and incorporating Salata into their lunch and dinner time routines," Brad Thomas, GM of Salata's Rea Farms location, said in a company press release. "We've seen tremendous growth in the Rea Farms area and felt that Salata would be a welcome addition to the vibrant and growing community."
After the grand opening, the Sweat with Salata Bootcamp will be held every Wednesday through Nov. 16 at Rea Park, located in front of the restaurant, and will feature free fitness classes from fitness leaders in the community. Sweat with Salata will pick up in spring 2023 as weather permits.
Founded in 2005, Houston-based Salata has over 80 corporate-owned and franchise locations in Texas, Georgia, Southern California, Louisiana and North Carolina.
