Former Cousins Subs employees now franchisees

Justin and Laura McGraw, both former Cousins Subs employees, are now franchisees for the brand after opening a Cousins Subs store in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

"All of my career decisions were a steppingstone for us to get to this point," Justin said in the release. "My career trajectory has taught me so much about running a business and has set us up for success in our new role as franchisees. Coming home to Cousins Subs has always been my dream, and I am so fortunate to make it a reality as a new business owner."

Justin began working for the brand in 2001 as a crew member at the Hales Corners, Wisconsin store and held various positions during his six years of employment and then went on to work for Stanley Steemer for 12 years. Laura joined the sub brand in 2005 and worked for the brand for four years. The couple met while working for Cousins Subs and were married in 2014, according to a press release.

"Justin and Laura McGraw will be exemplary Cousins Subs franchise owners," said Joe Ferguson, vice president of development at Cousins Subs, in the release. "They share our belief that quality has no substitute and will treat all guests and employees like family."

The McGraws purchased the fast casual sub shop from Cousins Subs franchisees Norm and Mary Jo Lorentz.
