Former chemist becomes Capriotti's franchisee

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has opened in Eastvale, California, under the direction of Tim Robison, who spent 15 years working for the Department of Defense and another 15 working as a chemist in the power industry before retiring.

He decided to embark on his entrepreneurial journey with Capriotti's after falling in love with the brand during sales trips to Las Vegas, according to a press release.

"I was sitting on the couch one day and saw that there are franchise opportunities available with Capriotti's and I immediately picked up the phone," Robison said in the release. "Capriotti's was one of my favorite things about going to Las Vegas, and I know that Eastvale residents will fall in love with the brand the same way that I did. I look forward to watching Capriotti's be welcomed into a community that means so much to me."

Founded in 1976, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop has over 125 locations.
