Forklift Brands opens first Boudin SF in the OC

November 8, 2006

SAN FRANCISCO — Forklift Brands has announced that the company's newest venture, bakery café Boudin SF, will open its debut location in Orange County's upscale South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

According to a news release, each new Boudin SF location will feature a working demonstration bakery, manned by Boudin's bakers, infusing the restaurant with the aromas of freshly baked sourdough bread. Visitors also will enjoy Boudin SF's warm, lively and entertaining décor and the array of San Francisco art and imagery reflecting Boudin's more than century-and-a-half San Francisco heritage.

"Our goal in launching Boudin SF is to bring our sourdough bread front-and-center to our guests so they can experience the sight and aroma of our fresh baked bread," said Dave Wolfgram, chief executive of Forklift Brands. "All Boudin SF locations will mix, shape, score and bake bread throughout the day, every day."
