Foodstuffs, IDS partner on digital menu-board system

HOLBROOK, N.Y. — IDS Menus has announced the recent successful installation of its digital menu-board system at Foodstuffs in Chicago. Foodstuffs, which provides gourmet foods and services to the Chicago area, has four locations in Illinois and more than 25 years of experience.
Two 42-inch LCD screens were installed on pivoting wall mounts in the food court of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. IDS Menus provided a mix of digital content such as menu pricing, combination meal offerings and instructional graphics illustrating how customers can create their own beverages.
IDS Menus is a certified partner of Scala Inc. Founded in 1987, Scala provides the InfoChannel broadcast suite of software to IDS' digital products, allowing foodservice establishments to modify content on their digital-menu boards. Scala is headquartered in Exton, Pa., with operations in California, the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, China and Japan.
