Food truck builder amping up production

Prestige Food Trucks is moving its production center to a 30,000-square-foot facility in Elkhart, Indiana.

Prestige Food Trucks is moving its production center to a 30,000-square-foot facility in Elkhart, Indiana, to allow the food truck builder to increase the quality of its custom-built trucks and secure a higher volume of clients, said Jeremy Adams, owner of Prestige Food Trucks, the truck's manufacturer.

"Orlando has been an extremely welcoming city to us, but we needed more space to grow while continuing to offer outstanding service and Elkhart offered us the perfect opportunity," Adams said. The relocation will help accommodate business demand and allow the company to provide more efficient service to its current and future clients. This is the third facility relocation for Prestige. The last relocation allowed the business to hire five times more employees, cut its turnaround time by half and remain ahead of the competition.

Prestige is certified to build in all 50 states and internationally and has the highest production food truck manufacturing facility in the world, by volume, and the largest support network for repairs and maintenance across the country, said CEO, Jeremy Adams.

The business has been featured on "How It's Made," on the science channel segment on Fox News, and was awarded the 2015 Bright House Regional Business Award for Best New Startup. It also participated in an episode of "West Texas Investors," a CNBC show and closed a deal for a $1 million dollar loan.

The food truck manufacturer will continue to ship its food trucks and trailers nationally and internationally, and the move will allow for faster build out of mobile kitchens and custom trucks, Adams said.
