Flying Biscuit Cafe, a 35-unit chain founded in Atlanta in 1993, added five locations this year and is opening 15 in 2025.

"We are thrilled by the momentum we've built in 2024, and we anticipate even more significant growth in 2025," Andrew Scherzer, VP of Franchise Development said in a company press release. "Our expansion is a direct result of the trust and enthusiasm our franchisees—both new and existing—have in the Flying Biscuit brand. We're seeing increased interest from seasoned operators in the food service industry, which is a testament to the strength of our concept."

The Flying Biscuit Cafe fosters a collaborative franchise culture, seeking input from local franchise owners, said Brent Fuller VP of Operations.

"One of my favorite things we do at Flying Biscuit is our internal competition, encouraging all of our individual restaurant chefs to create and share their innovative dishes," he said in the release. "Winning creations are featured alongside monthly specials at all 35 restaurants," says . "We help promote the dishes — and the teams behind them — via our own channels, as well as with local media and influencers, Columbia, Charleston and Gainesville."
